My Card of the Day: The Two of Wands. This is another card that has such a fantastic illustration that there isn’t much to write about. A man stands on a balcony, between two wands. He looks at the globe in his hand and off at the horizon. Clearly this card is about making a choice. Wands represent the element of fire, as well as creativity, energy, and courage. It’s not much of a surprise that the man in this card has chosen to leave his safe fortress and explore the world. Although this card implies choice, I see it as urging us to take a risk and explore.
